As Claire & Rob ordered 3 albums… this perfectly shows off the differences in the albums I offer, with photos from the same wedding.
All boxed up…
The 2 ‘Fine Art Books’ from Vision Art are on top… with the Jorgensen Album at the bottom.
Let’s start with the Jorgensen album… It comes in a hard, sturdy box, with a white bevelled edge, wrapped up in black cloth, and a pretty bow.
Claire & Rob went for a linen cover in ‘Grey Sky’ …with an optional extra of ‘LOVE’ embossed on the front in silver.
The album was 12×12″ and had 133 final images, with an added flip page and optional core board mats… it’s certainly a substantial impressive album.
Now onto all the images… You’ll notice the design is far simpler, because it uses real photographs, mounted from behind.
The optional upgrade to core-board mats have a bevelled edge to the photo, which really makes the photos stand out over a flat mat.
This is the flip page… above pic = closed, below pic = open. It’s a great added wow as you’re looking through the album.
Here are the two albums, side by side, both 12×12″. You can see just how much larger that spine is on the Jorgensen album.
Here is the mini 6×6″ parent book (or handbag copy)… exactly the same as the large one, just scaled down. We even do a cute 4×4″ one too!
Claire & Rob went for the standard photo wrap cover, with 36 spreads – which equated to 104 photos.
Because the photos are printed within the page, onto fine art archival quality grade paper/card… the design possibilities are endless, though I like to keep it fairly consistent and timeless still, so always on white and the same spacing between images, unless they are full bleed (to the page edge) see below.
The unique binding process allows images to span across the spine without any detriment to the photos, you can barely see the crease at all. Large panoramic images certainly give this album the wow factor.
