Pre-Wedding Shoot – Nicola & Ferdeen – Islington Town Hall & Smithys

This is probably a little different intro to the usual wedding pre-shoot I post… but bear with me! …I’m sure other brides to be will find it useful & perhaps other aspiring photographers out there too? Nicola only contacted me a few months ago – about their forthcoming wedding this December 2010! …So not typical […]

    Hi Ben,
Hope all is well. I’ve sent out very similar emails to clients to explain to them the challenges that winter weddings can present and why the chap who can offer all day coverage for £400 might not be the ideal choice. I also never give out quotes over the phone anymore – I always like to put my prices into context and explain all the effort and expertise that’s involved. I love the images above (in the style popularised by Damien Lovegrove). Are you using the new PocketWizards (miniTT1 & flexTT5) with your Speedlights?
    All the best,

Lovely set of pictures, I like the dinning room best the artwork and bride have made for a great image, but I do like your use of Speedlight’s/flash on the outside images too.ReplyCancel

Really lovely shoot. I love the one where the groom is holding his hands out to show his nervers (or lack thereof!)

I’ve seen the canal boat ones before and know just how stunning they are, but will certainly look forward to seeing them again.

I will ‘like’ this blog post – but am most disappointed by your iPhone favourtism. Blackberry apps are where it’s at! 😉ReplyCancel

A postcard with love…

Just received an order of a few promo postcards I’ve just designed & got printed. Thought you might like to check them out, I think they are rather nice!  I was contemplating placing the logo on the back with some added info and text – but then I thought nah, simplicity is the key!  …plus […]
